X-ray 1 – Pediatric patient, 6-years old presented with an incipient interproximal lesion between teeth K & L. A Phocal pHn fluoride disk was placed at the time of the initial appointment and the patient was scheduled for a 2-month recall appointment.
X-ray 2 – At 2-month recall appointment, x-rays were taken again and showed evidence that the incipient lesion was arrested, with no further signs of progression. Another Phocal pHn fluoride disk was placed and a 6-month recall appointment was scheduled.
X-ray 3 – After 8 months from the initial disk placement, the lesion is still arrested with no further signs of progression.
